First Aid Boxes
The laws of Ghana, Factories, Offices and Shops Act 1970, (ACT 328) requires that in every place of work, be it an Office, Factory, Plantation, Supermarket, Learning Institution, etc, there shall be at least a first aid box and an additional box for every 150 persons employed and a person with first aid knowledge should be kept in-charge. But the question is; what is the worth of a first aid box without a trained first aider to make good use of it?
In view of these, St. John Ambulance, Ghana, the lead organization in first aid training organizes a variety of first aid trainings to a wider range of organization, institutions and individuals to sharpen their skills, knowledge and attitude to face emergencies. Remember a trained first aider in your place of work is best qualified to be in charge of the first aid box at all times during emergencies.
